hey, ok, one of the error messages when shutting down is "/shared not mounted". btw, its /shared not /home like i said in earlier messages. i did "/sbin/fuser -vm /shared" and it returns nothing at all. also if i run that command from kde's konsole, it kills xwindows...whats up with that?
