They do. If you did a complete install of a recent version, you'll find 
exim. I won't bother to address the assertion that exim beats all the 
other MTAs, though.

Oh, and one shouldn't forget smail, either. It's an actual GNU program.
Supposedly, it's the simplest to configure, but I've I've never tried it
personally.
