Now edit the /etc/inittab file. Change 5 with 3 at the line that says: id:5:initdefault typing "init 6" will reset the box and from now on it will just load until the text mode. Anytime you want it to load X just type "init 5" Reconfiguration is done usually with xf86config or Xconfigurator HTH -- Francisco Neira B.
