I believe it was not a question, but an assertion, that we need more info to help you you can not just say "I'm trying to use XXX program and it doesn't work"
we should know what you have tried, what firewall options you have implemented... if you have it restricted via tcp-wrappers (/etc/hosts.deny and /etc/hosts.allow) more info...
