A little more info will help :-) I am running my 7.3 box on comcast as well, no problems. I did have to assign the hostname as the comcast assigned one. Once I did that, DHCP worked fine. How are you trying to get the linux box to connect (static, dhcp?), and what errors do you see whn it fails?
