Hi,
I was trying to change the host name of my linux machine. I did so by editing the file /etc/sysconfig/network. If i reboot the system, it works fine recognizing the new hostname. However if i reboot the system again, it goes back to its old hostname. Could anyone tell me, what is the reason behind this and how can i stop it.
