I have a RedHat 7.3 machine, I just recently set up a wireless network. The problem I have is that I decided in my wireless.opts file to set DHCP='y', but what i want is a static IP address. Supposedly in the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts directory there is supposed to be a ifcfg-eth0 file that represents setting for my wireless ethernet card, but for some reason it does not exist. I dont know why. Has anyone had a similar problem?
