You may not have a default route that points to the dialup connection, and/or pppd may not be setting a DNS. In the first case, no packets will be routed over the dialup connection. In the second case the browser will not be able to resolve hostnames to IP addresses. Check the 'defaultroute' and 'usepeerdns' options in your PPP configuration. Tony - -- Anthony E.
