Hei Perhaps you should say what medium you wish to back to if you want a precise answer. Generally tar is a popular tool for back-ups. There are others of course. As always stfw and you should find lots of stuff. I found an old article in the linux gazette which you might be interested in: http://www.linuxgazette.com/issue47/pollman.html The february 1996 edition of the linux gazette has a several articles on backing up. Find it at: http://www.borg-cube.com/lj1996/notables/feb/ or go to the linux journal website: www.linuxjournal.com and seek it out there. t.irvine > > > > -- > redhat-list mailing list > Unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe > https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list -- redhat-list mailing list Unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
