how can i rerun iptables when cablemodem issue new ip?

Hello,   I just got my linux box hooked up to a cablemodem.  When my isp reissues an IP, I would like my computer to detect this and rerun iptables.  The linux box is both my firewall and router for my LAN.  Please help.  Thanks   Hyung
