Hi, I'm new to the list ;) I am more or less a newbie to Linux and I have a small problem at the moment with my Linux machine. When I installed Redhat 7.3, I choose it to use DHCP for it's network configuration.
In the past week, the network in which the machine is, changed, and no DHCP server is present at the moment, so I have to change the configuration back to a static IP, but I don't know how to do this! Could anyone give me a short step-by-step explenation which files I have to edit to change the network IP to a static IP? Any help is greatly appreciated!
