I'm trying to install RedHat Linux 7.2 on a stripped array using an on board (gigabyte 7dxr) RAID controller. Promise Tech supplies a driver for the controller and so does gigabytenetworking.com but after following the instructions and trying many variations I've had no success getting Linux installed. It always seems to stop a formatting the partitions right before installing the packages. Does any one have this type of hardware running. Please help. There must be some small thing I'm missing.
