Hi,

About a month ago I installed, on one of my two hard drives, a copy of Red
Hat Linux 7.3. LILO is not capable of booting off this hard disc because (if
I am correct by saying) my new drive has > 1024 cylinders. I have therefore
been forced to boot from a floppy.

However, I have heard of another boot installer called GRUB. Is GRUB capable
of booting off a > 1024 cylinder hard drive, and if so, where do I find it
and install it?

Secondly, if GRUB is of no use, where do I find the floppy image for the
Linux bootdisc the system uses, because unfortunately my boot disc has been
corrupted.

Many thanks,

Mark Seaden ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
