Hi,
I am having a problem sending mail out of the localdomain.
I am connected to the internet with a shared T1.
Lynx is working so the DNS servers in resolv.conf are ok.
Sendmail is working locally, but when I send
an email to an outsied domain I get the following error message
dsn=5.1.2, stat=host unknown (nameserver: foo.com: host not found)
I am behind a fireswall, and I have port 25 forwaredd to this computer.
I also have port 80 forwared and the http server is wroking. Bind also
appears
to be functioning properly.
I am using Redhat 7.2
Sendmail 8.11-6.3
BIND 9.2.1
I have been reading and poking around in hosts, hosts.conf, resolv.conf
and the bind files but nothing has worked so far.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
