Hello all, I use a notebook that has a res of 1400x1050, and a monitor that has a res of 1280x1024.
I can't figure out how to have different res on different monitors, so I want to change my notebook display to 1280x1024. When I use Xconfigurator, if I do not have 1400x1050 as a mode X will hang (even if I select the monitor as only 1280x1024. Having 1280x1024 as an additional mode also doesn't work, it actually makes the display bigger (like a 1600x1400 virtual desktop). Can anyone help me?
