Newbie question here:
Is it best to setup the Firewall using the Firewall Form during install, or
start from scratch?

I suppose you could say firewalls are a sort of god! ;-)

It really depends upon what you wan to use, eith GUI or command line
based.

I would recommend using iptables over ipchains,
Its IMHO got loads of advantages over iptables (some being):

1. Can use statefull inspection
2. Treats all chains as separate
3. Easy to setup
