Not sure what happened to my original post from the other day. Sorry if this is a repeat. I have Redhat 7.2 installed on a Compaq DL360 1U rackmount. I have a third party application that has performance issues. The vendor says it's a known problem with Redhat on some rackmounts, something to do with the NIC possibly. They claim that other customer have installed a different flavor of Linux and not had the same problems. Tha app runs on Java and I've tried both Sun's and Blackdown's JRE, both behave the same.
