If you grab the passwd, shadow and group files, that'll list them all. Now, I obviously don't know if you have any custom applications that may list users differently. Best bet: tar up the entire /etc directory. Also, don't forget about other config files stored outside of /etc (e.g. - /usr/local/apache or /usr/local/named, if you use those). > So my question is, is there anyway I can keep all the users and passwd > so that after the upgrade, the users can still be there?
