yup. It is possible. in RHL 7.2 and RHL 7.3, you can use Konqueror to browse an MS machine by specifying something like this at the location/address:
smb://windows_netbios_name/
windows_netbios_name here is the machine name of the win pc that can be seen in the network neighborhood. You need to configure your
kcontrol
And go to Network > Windows Shares you need to provide the username, password (in your win pc) and workgroup.
