Hi there.
I am trying to install postfix-1.1.7-2 wich I found on the Redhat ftp
server in the 7.3 distribution. I am running a RH7.2 distribution. So
my first question is: Is it ok to install the package from 7.3 on 7.2?
Second question. Postfix needs libdb-3.3.so. I don't know where to get
that one. I tried rpmfind.org but it doesn't show up.Any ideas?
And the third one. Do I have to remove sendmail? I get this error
amongst others when I try to install
postfix conflicts with sendmail-8.11.6-3
because if so, I get another error message that says:
smtpdaemon is needed by mutt-1.2.5i-17
smtpdaemon is needed by fetchmail-5.9.0-1
