The line in my fstab that mounts the dos partition is:
/dev/hdb1    /doshd    vfat     uid=100,gid=100,umask=0 0 2

I watched the boot sequence, and noted how the system identified the 
partition, then added the line to my fstab.  I got it right on the 
second try.
