Oh, I have no doubt that Theo believes there's a bug in OpenSSH
and that the best thing to do is to upgrade to 3.3 and activate
priv seperation. But this is only the opinion of one person (and
let's face it, Theo probably isn't the most objective person in the
world with regards to OpenSSH). Maybe he's made a mistake (it happens),
maybe other people would disagree as to the solution (it happens, all
the time). I'm taking the "wait and see approch" to this for the present.

FWIW, after reading Theo's post, I downloaded OpenSSH 3.3 and installed
it on my machine. I activated priv seperation, restarted ssh and tried
to scp a file from my machine. It failed. I downgraded back to the
previous version (3.2.3p1) and tried again. It worked.
