Hello, all.

No small thanks to Mr. Matthew Bradford, I did manage to finally get X up
and running on the NEC Ready 340T that was giving me trouble under RH 7.1
and 7.3 (but that worked fine with 7.0). The solution? Install 7.0, back up
the XF86Config and XF86Config-4 files from /etc/X11, install 7.3, and then
copy those two files into /etc/X11. Worked like a charm.

I realize this may not be of much (or any) use to most of you, but I
thought I should publish this "solution" for the benefit of anyone who
might have a similar problem and come across my original postings in the
archives...Plus I wanted to give a public shout-out to Matt. :-)

Thanks to all who helped...Now on to less mundane Linux issues...

Hagn
