Apologies if this is not the correct forum for this list.

According to the documentation at KDE, there is no official KDE support for
Redhat - http://www.kde.org/packagepolicy.html

I'm wondering if this is actually the case, since after installation of RH
7.3, you can choose between KDE or Gnome as your desktop environment.
However, there are STILL no RPMS for KDE 3.0.1, which was released May 22.
The only RPMS I have been able to find are Rawhide, and they appear to be an
incomplete set. KDE 3.0.1

Are there plans to fully support KDE in the future? Does anyone have
experience with the KDE 3.0.1 upgrade for Redhat that can attest to the
completeness of the available rawhide binaries and/or the relative ease of
upgrade? Does anyone know if "official" redhat packages for 3.0.1 are still
forthcoming?

Thank you,
