Did you get it working?
I have a system with a Promise Ultra100 ATA Adapter card with one drive attached to
it. The 7.3 installation will not recognize the drive no matter what I do. However,
7.1 works straight out of the box, no monkey business required, and the drive works
fine under it. Since this system won't boot from the CD, I'm using floppies. The
offending program is on the boot floppy, since the 7.1 disk works, and the 7.3 disk
does not. The 7.3 floppy does not work even after the successful 7.1 installation,
which has the drive partitioned, formatted , and mounted. Since I purchased a boxed
set, I have opened a service request with RH support. No word yet.
