I have a dual boot system with Win98 and Redhat 7.2 on different disks.
The problem I have is mail and bookmarks in my browser. I use Netscape
4.79 in Windows (I know, I know, but I have my reasons). My ISP uses
POP for mail. Therefore, when I get mail from the ISP mail server, it
is put in my INBOX file in the users dir on the Windows disk. When I
boot Linux, and run, say, Mozilla, I couldn't see this file. My
solution was to mount the Win98 partition under linux, make a symbolic
link to the file and put this link in the mozilla mail directory. I
have tested this and it seems to work. I would like to go ahead and
make *all* the files in the mozilla directory links to the Win98 dir and
thus be able to see and manage my mail exactly the same regardless of
which OS I happen to be running.

My question: has anyone else done this? Are all the files used by
Mozilla exactly the same format? Are there any other issues that will
bite me later? Thanks.

Hunter
