Hello dd27256,

Wednesday, June 12, 2002, 11:20:04 PM, you textually orated:

d> I recently compiled and installed apache and mySql for redhat 7.3. I

Option 1 : man chkconfig
Option 2 : man ntsysv
Option 3 : search Google and learn about runlevels.

I recommend trying the first two, then maybe reading up for knowledge's sake
about the third. You could get into learning about setting "S"es and "K"s
and ordering of the scripts and all about sysv, but the tools are there for
a reason. Later learn what they do and why.

Have fun,
