Hello,   I currently have Samba setup and things seem to be working fine.  Samba addresses my need to move between environments, however, I want to be able to refer to my windows machines by hostname rather than IP.  For instance, I want to FTP to a server in the windows environment.  Is there any way to do this w/o having to put each entry in my hosts file?  I would guess that nmbd is a possibility, but not sure.  Any help appreciated.   Thanks,   Alejandro ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
