The instructions are Netscape-specific, but Mozilla has the same sort of structure. Copying the files to /usr/lib/netscape/plugins/ will enable Flash for Netscape. Copying the files to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ will enable Flash for Mozilla (assuming you have 0.9.3. or earlier). In Mozilla 0.9.4 and later (including Mozilla 1 RC3, which I use as well as you), you must copy the files instead to /usr/local/mozilla/plugins/.
