Hello,

I am having an issue with RH 7.3 Basically the laptop I have it on is an
older model and it needs PNP in order to make the sound work on it. It
appears to be SB compatible. (Its a Texas Instruments TravelMate 7100T)
Thing is that since the PNP stuff is built right into the kernel it does
nothing more than turn the stupid card off. I look into the resource
allocation in the BIOS and it is all 0's (irq, dma, etc). If I download
isapnptools for 7.2 then i can get the card up and running.... BUT there is
an issue with conflicting resources. No matter what IRQ I use the sb driver
says it is in use. I have a strong feeling it has to do with the PNP stuff
being built into the kernel.

It is like the (ACT Y) isn't in there for the kernel version. (If it uses
the same code as PNPTools)

So basically I need to know how to either disable the kernel PNP management,
or make that work.

Any ideas?
