I don't know if the option exists in Linux fdisk, but I know that in the 
fdisk that comes with Windoze, you can do 'fdisk -mbr' and that will wipe the 
MBR of your hard disk. 

I'm sure sfdisk could do something similar, but you'd have to ask someone 
more experienced than I to be sure.
