So I was happy to see that RH7.3 supports LVM 'out-of-the-box' and
decided to upgrade a 7.2 box that's almost 100% LVM'd to 7.3. Of course,
my happiness lasted only as long as it took for me to find out that the
installer still doesn't support LVM.

So now I'm trying to figure out if there's a relatively low hassle way
to do the upgrade, and I've come up with some options:

1.) Copy the existing system to a non-LVM'd disk, upgrade, and then
recopy the upgraded system back.

2.) Do a clean install and rebuild everything from scratch

3.) Create some kind of custom install disk.

3.) Mount the ISOs, do an rpm -Fvh * and cross my fingers

In terms of hassle, the first three are somewhat of a pain. But' I'd
like to have a working system at the end, so I'm somewhat wary of #4.

Does anyone have comments on the above (especially experience with #4)
or other suggestions ? Or have an LVM enabled install disk lying around
:).

        Thanks in advance,

        John A.
