Re : Automatic granting of permissions to a file once created or uploaded.
I am running a web-server and host websites . eg : A website xyz.com
which will have an assosiated user-name : xyz , and of course , access
to telnet and ftp (this of course goes without saying).
Once my client logs-in as xyz and uploads a script/binary/cgi
to the cgi-bin , it automatically needs to get execute permission.
umask did not offer any solution because default file permissions
are 666 and no umask can make it 775 etc.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
