The answer to kernel-headers/sources is...................... Yes
The second question is to be answered by.....................No

Meanwhile I have reinstalled the whole system (after backing up my files 
nearly a whole day, should do it more often :-))

So, situation has profoundly changed, also thanks to Rudolfo (building 
advices) and Michael (url) for help.
