That's also what I did, simply tossed in a 40 GB, upgraded the RH, and now
all is fine.

You will also probably need make, patch, and something else, I forget
what all gets installed when you selevt the software development option
during install.  Hang on:


OK I'm back..
Too much to post but if you look on your installation media in
RedHat/base/comps you can see the list of packages that are included in
the sofware development group.

You won't need it all most likely but I did have a hard time figuring
out what I needed to compile a source tarball way back when on a machine
that had limited HD space.  Seems like there were about 6 or 7 packages
I needed.  Since then I buy bigger HDs and allways install the software
development group.
