hey,

ok, i accidentally deleted some kernel files like a moron. so i downloaded
the latest kernel from redhat and installed it. weird thing is that rpm
didn't complain that the rpm was already installed. now when i issue the
following command:

rpm -qa | grep -i kernel

i get the following output:

kernel-source-2.4.9-31
kernel-2.4.9-31
kernel-2.4.9-31
kernel-headers-2.4.9-31

notice kernel-2.4.9-31 is there twice? when i try to remove one by:

rpm -e kernel-2.4.9-31

i get the following error:

error: "kernel-2.4.9-31" specifies multiple packages

what do i do? how do i remove it?

thanks,
christopher
