Check out 'alien'. It is included with Red Hat Linux 7.2. "Alien is a program that converts between the rpm, dpkg, stampede slp, and slackware tgz file formats. If you want to use a package from another distribution than the one you have installed on your system, you can use alien to convert it to your preferred package format and install it." http://kitenet.net/programs/alien/ - -- - -Michael pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/gpgkey.txt Red Hat Linux 7.2 in 8M of RAM: http://www.rule-project.org/ - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjzLIxgACgkQn/07WoAb/SuSRQCgpiVG3VsuFYZ2OAT2Fe+/UlM6 sFAAnim3DYbQa2wYrnEJfuxbUGEClog4 =Tu8/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
