Try editing /etc/lilo.conf by hand. The config options are explained in the manual page for lilo.conf. 'man lilo.conf' You probably want to remove, or set to 0, the delay line. Also see the sections of the man page covering the prompt and timeout options. After editing the file, you must run lilo. /sbin/lilo -v If no errors are reported, you should be all set.
