OK, you are done.  You can't even get started.  It seems that you do not
know the requirements for DV.  Your best storage medium are the miniDV tapes.
What you probably don't know is that for every 9 minutes and 20 seconds
of DV transferred from the camcorder to the computer, 2GB of disc space is
used.  You don't have enough disc space to even get started.

A 100 GB drive, used solely for digital video, will only hold 28000 seconds
of video, or about 7.77 hours of video.  That is nothing.

Nope, tape used for storage, discs used only for editing.
