I've been using my Linux machine as a gateway for about 2 weeks now and have a few questions. I have been logging in as root, connecting (manually) using kppp and starting firestarter manually:
1) How can I automatically connect to my ISP and start my firewall (Firestarter) on a system restart? 2) When connecting to the ISP in this way, how can I get it to Reconnect on Disconnection (my ISP disconnects me every 8 hours.) 3) Anyone using IEMS (Internet Exchange Message Server from iam.com)? It seems to get 'stupid' after my ISP disconnects me and I reconnect (unless I restart the whole machine.) Any help woiuld be GREATLY appreciated. THANKS!
