Never tried it with RH 7.1, but with 7.2 it just works. Just run the CD, and partition the unpartitioned space using disk druids. Either LILO or GRUP will work for the boot loader, no extra configuration needed. This might be the case also with 7.1 (LILO). But why not install 7.2 ?
