From what you have written here, I would think you might have a problem with permissions in regard to who may access your NFS shares. Is your laptop's name definitely "zaragoza.andante.mn.org"? One idea may be to do something like this for a quick test:
/home/jna 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.255.0(rw) That's assuming that your using private ip's of 192.168.1.xxx. As another person mentioned you need to be running portmap. You can run "rpcinfo -p zaragoza" and look for "nfs" and possibly "mountd". That's what I have running on my own machines when I execute rpcinfo. Good luck, John M. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, April 02, 2002 1:04 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Red Hat List; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Problem with permisions in NFS?? _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
