Can someone please help me. I have installed qmail according to the lifewithqmail.org instructions. The smtp portion is working fine. When I install the qmail-pop3d server and the associated modules (checkpassword) the tests seem to be working execpt when I try to use outlook from a client on my LAN. I tried telnet localhost 110 but the connection is refused. I checked xinetd.d/ to see if there is something in there blocking port 110. I don't think there is. When I do a netstat -an there is nothing running on port 110. When I do qmailctl stat it shows the pop3d being up and the pop3d log being up. I believe the main issue here is nothing running on port 110. How do I get the qmail-pop3d to run on that port or whatever my problem is. Also, the contents of my /var/log/qmail/pop3d/current file is scrambled. Can someone please help me. D
