Subject: Forgot to Uninstall RPM?
Dear all,
Today I tried to install DB2 7.2
on my Redhat 7.1. I tried several versions downloaded from the web. There are
lots of RPMs to be installed. A script, db2_setup, is in charge
of that. But at one time, I forgot to run the script db2_deinstall before
I tried the next version. After the new version overwrote the previous one,
the db2_deinstall of the new one can't uninstall the previous installed DB2! I
have to remove the directory, /usr/IBMDB2, manually by rm -rf. Then I started
the new db2setup. But it doesn't work! Even if I overwrote the new one with
the previous one, I can't install DB2 any more!
Anyone can help me! Thanks a lot
in advance!
Li Bing
