Shame. It's quite a fun book. If you've already learnt the basics (i.e. you know what scalar and list variables are, what a file handle is) then Learning Perl is not a great loss; and when you first start to learn, having a paper copy you can read in the bathroom is probably more valuable than having it on CD anyway.
