I have to agree memtest86 is an excellent memory tester HOWEVER!

If you use genuine Intel boards (D815, D845 or D850), then you may have
problems. For some reason it always just hangs blank screen flashing cursor
on these boards.

I've never seen the problem on other boards (same floppy disk). God knows
why it won't work, but it's a bit annoying.
