I have production servers and firewalls running 6.2 and quite stable, not SMP 
though.

I also have a 7.1 production server running an SMP kernel running very stable.

I use 7.2 (non SMP) as a workstation at home without problems.


My $0.02 is if this is a new server then use 7.2 (naturally with all the 
errata applied).
