Copy /etc/passwd, group, and shadow to the new box and delete the unwanted entries from each file. Then copy the appropriate directories under /home. The 'tar' utility may be a good way to do this since it preserves ownership. Then recreate any other accounts you may have, like PostgreSQL user and group accounts or accounts used with Apache's basic authentication. Tony - -- Anthony E.
