Copy /etc/passwd, group, and shadow to the new box and delete the unwanted 
entries from each file. Then copy the appropriate directories under /home. 
The 'tar' utility may be a good way to do this since it preserves 
ownership.

Then recreate any other accounts you may have, like PostgreSQL user and 
group accounts or accounts used with Apache's basic authentication.
