Is your error during compile like this :

checking for GTK-- - version >= 1.2.3... no
*** Could not run GTK-- test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for
     the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK-- was incorrectly
     installed
*** or that you have moved GTK-- since it was installed. In the latter case,
     you
*** may want to edit the gtkmm-config script: /usr/local/bin/gtkmm-config
configure: error: Cannot find GTK--: Please install Version 1.2.3+

That is what I am getting, yet gtk-config does exist in /usr/local/bin. I am
trying to compile fwbuilder. I have searched for answers, and found several
references to this error. Since I am a newbie, I found no answers yet.
