Ok. I'm playing with RedHat 7.2 and Grub. After creating a kernel and copying it to /boot I modified the /etc/grub.conf file. Basically I took the default setup (under title RedHat) and created a new entry for my kernel. Upon reboot I see my entry in the boot menu and select it. Linux says it loaded the kernel but that's where it stops. Did I miss something? I understood grub didn't require anything more than grub.conf being modified.
